PLH currently owns 20 pier spaces that are rented out to property owners or tenants for their boats. These spaces are rented on a first come, first served basis and would be available to you each year unless you forfeit it based on various reasons that are outlined in the Constitution and By-Laws.
Unfortunately, there are more people who want piers than there are pier spaces. Because of this we have established a waiting list. As pier spaces become available, the names on the list are called in the date order in which the request was made.
Please remember that all piers and pier spaces are the property of Petite Lake Highwoods Association and that any additions, modifications, painting, etc. other than normal maintenaince, requires approval of the PLH board before any such work is performed.
Any new boat lifts are also prohibited without approval.
For those who would like to launch their boats at our launch site at the main park, there are keys available to the ramp gate. A $100.00 deposit is required for as long as you have the key. Some or all of this money may be forfeited if you lose the key. If you choose not to keep a key in your possession, you may ask a board member to open the gate for you. You may want to contact the board member in advance in order to have a better chance of their being available. We will do our best to accommodate you, but keep in mind that the gate will remain locked under normal conditions.
